BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Mayor Wu's month of outdoor movies continues featuring family-friendly flicks as a part of her ParkARTS program.

In 12 parks across the city, movie lovers will get the chance to enjoy their favorite films under the stars.

The free events, happening all month, are hosted by the Boston Parks and Recreation Department with support from the Mayor's Office of Tourism, Sports, and Entertainment division.

The next screening is Monday, Aug. 11, of the feature film, 'Transformers One' at Jamaica Pond Pinebank. The movie starts at dusk, and the popcorn is free while supplies last.

The series ends on Aug. 29 with the showing of 'Wicked' featuring Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo at Boston Common Parade Ground.
