BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A six-year-old girl from New Hampshire is recovering after a sledding accident on a popular hill in Marlborough.

On February 17, little Bella Colon was in a sledding crash that left her unconscious.

According to WBZ-TV, she was taken by helicopter to Lebanon's Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with fractures to her skull, a dent in the back of her head, and a bruised liver.

She told WBZ-TV she remembers "going down the hill really fast and ending up in the hospital."

Bella's road to recovery will be a long one. Her family says they're speaking out so that other parents can take proper precautions.

You can donate to Bella's recovery via a GoFundMe page set up by her aunt. The page has raised around $3,000 in the last week.
