BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Boston Police Department has released photos of the suspects involved in an aggravated assault incident that occurred in Mattapan.
On Sept. 13 around 7:45 p.m., a gay couple said they were physically and verbally attacked by a group of men in Mattapan. One of the men said that the group was making anti-gay remarks to them at the convenience store at 550 River St. The police said this then escalated into a physical fight after one of the men confronted the group.
The Boston Police Department has asked that anyone with information regarding the assault to contact the Civil Rights Unit at (617) 343-4527.
