Police Searching For Suspect In Worcester Hit-And-Run

WORCESTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police are asking for the public’s assistance in the search for a hit-and-run suspect.

A 77-year-old female pedestrian was struck on March 11 on Pleasant Street in Worcester just before 6 p.m. According to the Worcester Police Department, the woman was taken a local hospital. She is reportedly in stable condition.

According to officials, a vehicle hit the woman while she was crossing the street, and then drove off.

The vehicle is described as a white Hyundai Sonata. The car had a sunroof and alloy rims, according to police. The hood and front bumper may be damaged.
