BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Protesters gathered in Harvard Square in Cambridge to decry President Donald Trump’s declaration of a national emergency on the southern border.
Congresswoman Ayanna Pressley spoke at the rally.
“We know when injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty,” Pressley said at the rally. “I thank you all for being here in united resistance and solidarity. But, I thank you for doing something that is also an affront to the vitriol and the venom, the hateful rhetoric and racist policies of this administration. And that is to build community.”
