BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Patriots running back Sony Michel had one heck of a rookie season.

He racked up nearly 1,300 yards and a dozen TD's in 16 games, including the playoffs—and he scored the only touchdown in the Pats' Super Bowl win over the Rams.

Michel is keeping busy after a Duck Boat parade through Boston.

The soon-to-be-sophomore back wrote on Instagram this week, "It's realizing that a great dream is not as good as a great memory. The dream can be had by anyone. The memory must be made."

Michel included a video of his highlights, but he provided the vocals. That's right—Sony Michel has a rap song.

The song's about Michel's arrival in the NFL and how his rookie campaign's helped his family financially.

Pats wide receiver Julian Edelman and safety Devin McCourty were among the presenters during the recording industry award show Sunday night.

Michel also released tracks on YouTube and Spotify when he was in college at Georgia, but this is his first as a pro.
