BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Taylor Swift’s newest album “Life of a Showgirl” has dropped, sending “Swifties” in a world of excitement.
“This is the first album you can tell she’s just generally happy with life,” one fan said about the new album.
“I think it was really different than what she’s done before, but it was really fun,” another fan added.
The most diehard fans are fighting back against the opinion that Swift’s latest album isn’t living up the hype.
“That’s their problem. We got to realize Taylor is 35 now, turning 36, her music genre changes through the years,” one outspoken supporter said.
The album release is coupled with a movie release, where many fans waited anxiously for outside of the Boston Common AMC.
“We’re getting the music video, so I’m excited for that. Hopefully she talks about each song and how she feels about it,” one fan outside the movie theatre said.
The fans arrived decked out in glitzy cowboy hats and boots in anticipation for the movie release. The first shows nearly sold out for their opening weekend.
“I expect her to go through song by song, track by track, explaining her thought process by it,” one fan outside of the Boston Common AMC said about the theatrical release.
