Virtual Meeting For DCR's Arborway Improvement Project Set For Tuesday

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) is set to hold a virtual meeting to discuss the reconstruction plans for the Arborway.

At Tuesday’s meeting, officials will unveil an updated proposal for the Arborway Improvement Project based on two decades of studies. According to a press release, DCR is looking to improve safety and accessibility between Jamaica Pond and Forest Hills.

After a presentation of the proposal, officials will open up the meeting for public comment. For those unable to attend the meeting or not looking to speak, they can leave feedback on the DCR’s public comment portal until Feb. 4.

The meeting will take place on Zoom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Those looking to attend can RSVP on the DCR’s website.
