BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Mayor Marty Walsh said Sunday’s St. Patrick’s Day breakfast in West Roxbury is just the beginning.
“It kicks off, officially, a weeklong celebration of St. Patrick’s Day/Evacuation Day here in the city of Boston. We’ll be eating a lot of corned beef and cabbage, and telling a lot of bad jokes,” Walsh said.
The breakfast was hosted by Sen. Mike Rush at Corrib Pub and Restaurant in West Roxbury. Rep. Stephen Lynch and Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey were also in attendance.
