Worcester Man Threatened Teen Neighbor With Shotgun, Police Say

WORCESTER (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Worcester man is under arrest after police say he pointed a shotgun at his teenage neighbor.

Kevin Progri, 20, is charged with assault with a dangerous weapon, use of a firearm in a felony, and use of body armor in a felony.

The teen victim told police he had been at an afterschool program and was walking home from the bus when he saw Progri at the corner of Carlisle and Berkmans Streets.

He said Progri pointed the shotgun at him and yelled "Get off my block!" When he called police, he told officers Progri was currently leaning out of his bedroom window and yelling.

Worcester Police ordered Progri to come out with his hands up, and took him into custody.

Police didn't say why Progri wanted the victim off his block—but when they went in his home, they found the shotgun, along with ammunition and body armor.

Progri is due to be arraigned in Worcester District Court.
