BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — A worker fell around 20 feet from a church steeple in Jamaica Plain on Saturday.
He was working on a restoration project at Hope Central Church at 85 Seaverns Ave.
The Boston Fire Department posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, that around 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, they performed a "high angle rescue" for the construction worker, who had fallen around 20 feet while working on the church steeple.

Officials said they were able to treat, stabilize, and remove him using a tower ladder.
Boston Police told WBZ NewsRadio that the worker injured his ribs and ankle, and he was rushed to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
They also said that the Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been notified.
