Stoughton Police Search For Missing Woman

STOUGTON, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - Search and Rescue crews have now joined the search for Emma Tetewsky, a 31-year-old from Stoughton.

Tetewsky was last seen on Monday, June 26, around noon in the Mill Street area, where she lives. Her family reported her missing on Tuesday, June 27.

The Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (METRO-LEC) Search and Rescue Unit is now supporting the Stoughton Police Department in their search.

She's described as 5-feet-3-inches tall and around 120 lbs. Authorities said she may be wearing a light-colored long-sleeved shirt, leggings and Birkenstock-style sandals. Tetewsky has a history of mental health challenges and does not have her cell phone with her. She's known to frequent Pinewood Pond in Stoughton and Lake Massapoag in Sharon.

After receiving a tip from someone who believed they may have caught a glimpse of Tetewsky, search and rescue teams are focused on the area of Mill Street, and Lakewood Drive. Authorities are urging residents in the area to check their surveillance cameras for any possible sightings of the woman, between Sunday and today.

Anyone who believes they may have seen Tetewsky or has information about her whereabouts is asked to immediately call Stoughton Police at 781-344-2424.
