Chelsea Police Investigating After Two Dogs Were Left Tied To A Fence

CHELSEA, Mass. (WBZNewsRadio) - Authorities in the City of Chelsea are asking for the public's help after two dogs were left tied to a fence this week.

Authorities said they discovered the pair of animals around 1:40 a.m. on Thursday morning in the area of Broadway and Crescent. The dogs were brought to the Chelsea Police Department where they were given water and a meal. Animal Control officers have yet to be successful in finding their owner.

The dogs appear to be some sort of pit bull breed and are in good health. Officers said the animals are apprehensive around strangers but have not shown any aggression.
