Chinatown Fire Displaces 9 People

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Crews battled a fire in Boston's Chinatown neighborhood early Sunday morning.

The Boston Fire Department said the fire broke out around midnight at 15 Hudson St.

The fire started in the restaurant on the first floor and traveled to the roof in the rear of the building, according to the department.

Six adults and three children were displaced as a result of the fire, officials said. The Red Cross is helping them find housing.

One firefighter suffered minor injuries, the department said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
