MARSHFIELD, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — State and local police are looking for a suspect after a deadly double stabbing in Marshfield.

Police say they responded to 75 Gotham Hill Drive at about 9:00 PM on Tuesday night. They found two victims there, a married couple who owned the home: Carl Mattson, 70 years old, and Vicki Mattson, who would have turned 71 today.

Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz said the Mattsons had been stabbed and bludgeoned to death. Police have identified a suspect in the stabbings, 27-year-old Christopher Keeley. A BOLO alert has been issued for the man. Officials say Keeley was acquainted with the couple. The killings appear to be targeted, not random, according to the D.A.'s office.

Marshfield Police Chief Philip Tavares said the man may have dyed his hair red, and goes by the nickname "Crispy." Earlier, authorities were looking for a 2019 Jeep Wrangler, but say they have since found the vehicle unoccupied.

A warrant will be issued for the man's arrest.
