Middlesex D.A. Investigating Lowell Murder

LOWELL, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The Middlesex D.A's office is looking into a fatal shooting in Lowell on Friday night. The D.A's office is calling the death an "apparent homicide."

Lowell Police said they responded to a call on Barker Avenue in Lowell at about 6:15 on Friday night. When they arrived, police found a 30-year-old man with gunshot wounds.

The man was rushed to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. No names have been released in the case yet, and there have been no arrests. State Police, Lowell Police, and the District Attorney are investigating.
