More Than Two Dozen Mass. Companies Make Deloitte Technology Fast 500 List

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Dozens of Massachusetts companies have made a list of the fastest-growing tech and bioscience companies in the nation.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 is published annually, and Massachusetts was well represented this year: 32 Massachusetts companies made the list, including three in the top 10. 

Online grocery firm Takeoff Technologies of Waltham nabbed the number 2 spot on the list, with an astonishing 53,250% growth year over year. Cambridge-based Biotech drug-maker Moderna came in at number 6, and Corvus Insurance took the number 8 spot.

Companies in Massachusetts made up about 6% of the list, with 62% of the companies from the state on the list this year appearing in the Life Sciences category.
