Orange Line Train Pulled From Service

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — In the midst of a rough week for the Orange Line, another train is being taken out of service.

"Delays of up to 10 minutes southbound due to a train with a mechanical problem at Wellington," the MBTA announced. "The train is being taken out of service."

MBTA Pulls New Orange Line Cars For “Uncommon Noise”

Two new train cars were pulled from service on Tuesday due to an "uncommon noise," and Wednesday saw massive delays on the branch.

The mechanical problem at Wellington Thursday morning was resoled, and regular service has resumed.
