LYNN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A new initiative in Lynn is showcasing some of the city's most delicious destinations.

"Taste of Lynn" encourages patrons to dine at 12 Lynn eating establishments that represent a wide palette of tastes and cuisines. The initiative, which runs until Friday, June 30, is a collaboration between the City of Lynn, the Downtown Lynn Cultural District, MassDevelopment’s Transformative Development Initiative Creative Cities, and Creative Collective.

The 12 establishments participating in "Taste of Lynn" are: No Limit Nutrition, Mi Corazon Taqueria, Enzo’s Pizzeria, Sunset Caribbean Haitian Restaurant, Estefani’s Restaurant, B Sweets Cakes and Desserts, Verde Juice Bar, Asian Garden, El Gran Jaguar, Antojitos Chapines Restaurant, Union Cafe, and the Capitol Diner.

"Lynn has amazing dining options," Creative Collective special projects manager Tia Cole told WBZ NewsRadio. "You can eat at everything from Mexican, Venezuelan, to Cambodian restaurants. You can really eat around the world in a couple blocks. Better than Epcot."

Attendees taking part can grab a special booklet at any of the businesses. Each booklet has recommendations for each restaurant, and when an attendee spends at least $15 at an establishment, they will receive a sticker to put in the booklet.

The booklets will be entered into a raffle to win prizes at the Summer Fest Final Fridays at the Lynn Museum on June 30.

"We kind of highlighted the dish you should get when you go there," Cole said. "Like this is the thing they are known for and this is why people go."

According to city officials, a second "Taste of Lynn" is already being planned for the fall.
