WILMINGTON, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Wilmington say two people are injured and a house is badly damaged after a car slammed into it on Thursday night.

Wilmington Police say the car drove across two front yards before crashing into the side of 414 Woburn Street at about 10 p.m. Police say the driver of the car and the passenger were both injured. They were taken to a hospital but are expected to recover.

The town's Public Building Department took a look at the house, and determined that it was now unlivable because of structural damage caused by the crash.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated, and no charges have been brought against the driver yet.
