A Seabrook Man Dies After Boat Capsizes In Tri-Town Pond

SEABROOK, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A man is dead after a boat capsized in a Seabrook pond on Saturday.

At around 4:15 p.m., New Hampshire Fish and Game got reports of a possible drowning at Tri-Town Pond off of Old New Boston Road in Seabrook. When fire responders arrived at the pond, they discovered two people were fishing from a small boat when it capsized, police said.

One person made it to shore and was able to make a call for help alerting officers to the scene.

26-year-old Justin Janvrin of Seabrook was recovered at around 6:55 p.m., Seabrook Police said.

No other information is known at this time.
