BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Dorchester native Mark Wahlberg kicked off 2024 by opening up his own training studio in Boston.
Wahlberg is opening two of his own F45 Training locations in the Boston Financial District and the North End and said he plans to stop by.
The Financial District location at 99 Summer Street opened its doors in January, while the North End location at 111 North Street is set to open up later this year.
Before opening his first studio, Wahlberg entered an exclusive partnership with Club Sports Group, a large fitness program that already has three F45 Training studios in Swampscott, Weymouth, and Westford.

"It’s an honor to partner with Club Sports Group and expand the footprint of F45, the best group fitness approach on the planet which has long impacted my own health and wellness journey, right in my hometown of Boston. Returning to my roots, I see this as [a] great chance to improve the quality of life for everyone in the communities that are so close to my heart, and will be stopping by the studios every chance I get,” said Mark Wahlberg, F45 Training’s Chief Brand Officer.
The gym also hosts 'Wahlberg Week' several times a year with some of the actor's favorite workouts.
