BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Does your dad love whiskey and is in need of a facial? One Boston spa could have the perfect Father's Day gift.
WBZ's Matt Shearer got a whiskey facial... and set up his own shop.

G2O Spa and Salon, on Newbury Street, is offering a limited-time whiskey facial for the ultimate Father's Day experience — or for those that enjoy the smell of whiskey and getting pampered.
Customers can also take their facial a step further by asking for their service 'on the rocks' to include a stone massage.
"You will definitely enjoy the smell of whiskey while it's on you but at the end of the facial you will leave smelling normal," Sydney Mercurio, an esthetician at G2O Spa and Salon, told WBZ's Matt Shearer.

"This facial is a great option for both first-time clients and those who enjoy the fragrance of whiskey," G2O Spa and Salon wrote on its website. "Using locally made whiskey from Boston Harbor Distillery, the inclusion of spirits into this spa treatment offers additional wellness benefits. It reduces inflammation and puffiness, calms redness, tightens and hydrates the skin, as well as leaves the skin brighter and glowing."
Shearer put on his robe and tried it out for himself.
"With this whiskey facial this is going to be great for calming down redness and inflammation, it's good for tightening up the pores," said Mercurio.
Shearer enjoyed his experience so much he decided to open his own salon... right outside in his car on Newbury Street.
The whiskey facial is available through June 30th.
