DEDHAM, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Miniature stallions, Dwight and Stanley, are looking for a new home.

The mischievous 20-year-old brothers were recently surrendered to the Animal Rescue League of Boston by their previous family on Martha's Vineyard and were living at a horse sanctuary in Plymouth County.

The mini horses reportedly spent "a little too much time trying to interact with the mares on the property" while living at the horse sanctuary prompting the ARL to take the two in.

The ARL said the brothers are "not only stunning, they are in fantastic health and are very social horses."

The horses are currently living at ARL's property in Dedham.

"Mini horses make wonderful pets and typically live longer than full-size horse breeds, so these two have many years ahead of them," ARL Boston said.

The stallions will be gelded later this November and then they will be able to be adopted.

Anyone interested in adopting can reach out to the ARL Dedham adoption team at (617) 426-9170 x605 or email Dedham-adoption@arlboston.org.
