LYNDEBOROUGH, N.H. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The autopsy for the New Hampshire man who was discovered dead with a gunshot wound has been completed on Friday, according to New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella's office.
The autopsy determined that Robert Prest, 83, died from blunt head injuries, rather than from being shot. Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Duval ruled the death a homicide, according to AG Formella. Prest's body was found in his home at 774 Center Road in Lyndeborough on the morning of November 23.

Robert Gagnon, 45, was arraigned on Friday on an attempted murder charge for allegedly shooting Carlos Quintong, age 44, in Brookline, officials said. An investigation is taking place looking into the connection between Prest's death and the shooting of Quintong. Both events took place Wednesday morning according to AG Formella.
Investigators are asking anyone with information about the two events on November 23 to contact the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit at (603) 628-8477.
