Boston Logan Airport Travelers Experience A Taste Of Boston At The Terminal

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Public Market found a new home at Boston Logan International Airport on Tuesday giving visitors a chance to taste the city without leaving the terminal.

Some food vendors found at Boston Public Market's location on Hanover Street were introduced at Logan Airport's Terminal C with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and platters of lobster rolls. The vendors will provide travelers with fresh, locally sourced food from Massachusetts and New England, according to BPM.

"When people come here they might not have been able to get downtown, they might have been here for a business meeting, but here you can actually, as you leave the airport, get a taste of Boston when you go and I think that's a part of what we wanted to create," Steve Johnson, President and CEO of HMSHost said at the opening.

Johnson helped introduce some popular food vendors at Faneuil Hall Marketplace including Red’s Best, Market Bagel, and Beantown Pastrami.

"The Beantown Pastrami Company has always been one of my favorites," Johnson told WBZ's James Rojas. "For years I've gone down and eaten there."

Red’s BestMother Juice, and Beantown Pastrami can be found across from Gate 27 in Terminal C alongside Market Bagels and Market Bar. The Boston Public Market vendors will be open from 10 A.M to 6 P. M every day giving tourists a chance to experience Boston through food.
