Boston Police Look For Mercedes Van In Connection To Possible Kidnapping

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) —After Boston Police searched Thursday afternoon for a vehicle they believed to be involved in a kidnapping, they share on Twitter the incident was a "misunderstanding."

Boston Police said they found the vehicle and the child who was originally reported missing.

Early Thursday afternoon, Boston Police were looking for a vehicle connected to a reporting kidnapping. Police reported the vehicle was a gray Mercedes van with a white ventilation bubble on the roof and several stickers on the back left of the vehicle.

The reported kidnapping said an 8-year-old boy of Asian decent may have been pulled into the van by an adult white female with blond hair near 700 Commonwealth Avenue, around Boston University's Warren Towers.
