BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — "Ukraine will prevail," rallygoers shouted at Copley Square on Sunday afternoon.
Nearly one thousand people showed up with yellow and blue flags in hand to support Ukraine. The Ukrainian Cultural Center of New England put on the rally to mark the “365 days of defending freedom.”
Anton Khlebas, with the Ukrainian Cultural Center of New England, told WBZ's Suzanne Sausville he believes now is not a time to negotiate with Russia, nor will it ever be.

"If there is a burglar in your house, and let's say there is no exit from this house you have to fight back, do you want to negotiate at that point?" said Khlebas. "[These] are people's homes you know, would you like to give out Kentucky to Russia so Russia would never invade the United States?"
Khlebas wants Russia to withdraw its forces from Ukraine and the United States to do more to help support Ukrainians. He said he would like to see the U.S. send more aid money for Ukraine relief and more weapons.
