BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — After another Game 7 beatdown, Boston sports fans have been looking a bit down recently.

WBZ's Kyle Bray was a shoulder to cry on and reminisce about the good ol' days for some fans.

Boston is in its longest title drought for its teams in the country's top five major sports leagues since the late 80s/90s.

"You can feel the energy is kind of low, there aren't duck boats streaming around with everyone hanging out of them drunk and celebrating," one fan told WBZ's Kyle Bray. "The vibe is off."

Bray said it has been over 1,500 days since the last time the Duck Boats went down Boylston Street carting a trophy on board.

"We are kind of experiencing what other cities around the country felt for the last 20 years while we were having fun," one Boston fan said.

After winning 12 championship titles in the last 21 years he felt okay with being humbled by the recent winning drought.

"I was born in the 70s, I experienced a lot of loss and a lot of trials and tribulations so I think we're really fortunate to be in the city that had all these championships over 20 years," one man wearing a Red Sox shirt said.
