Bruins goalie, Linus Ullmark, became the first goalie in Bruins history to score a goal — leading the team to victory against the Vancouver Canucks. Ullmark launched the puck across the full length of the ice straight into the goal with less than a minute on the clock. The Vancouver Canucks had pulled their goalie, leaving them with an empty net.
Ullmark is the 13th goalie in National Hockey League history to score a goal for his team.
Ullmark led the Bruins to win the game, 3 to 1, for the sixth straight win. He also got his 30th win of the season at the historic game.
