DOVER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Officials are out with new information after a Dover family of three were found dead in their estate last week.
Norfolk District Attorney's office revealed initial autopsy results on Tuesday. The results revealed that Teena Kamal, 54, and her daughter Arianna Kamal, 18, were shot and killed. Father and husband, Rakesh Kamal, 57, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Norfolk DA Michael Morrissey's office told WBZ NewsRadio they are treating the case as a murder-suicide.
Early forensic and ballistic testing also showed that the gun found with Rakesh Kamal, a .40 caliber Glock 22, was not registered to him and he did not have a license for it. State Police are working with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives to determine where it originated.

A relative of the Kamal family called Dover Police to their home on Wilson's Way in Dover on the evening of Dec. 28, 2023, after stopping by to check on them. When police arrived, they found the mother, father, and teenage daughter dead.
Police had said the preliminary investigation showed it was a deadly domestic violence incident and that there was no danger to the public.
