METHUEN, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — There were lines down the aisles of one convenience store known for being lucky as people lined up for a chance to guess the numbers of Saturday's Powerball winning ticket. The Powerball drawing is estimated to be $1.6 billion, a world record jackpot.
Ted's Stateline Mobil in Methuen has sold multiple winning tickets over the years including the winning Mega Millions ticket of $1 million sold in June.
"Oh I'm a big lottery player," Martha of Salem told WBZ's Shari Small. "This is the winningest store in Massachusetts so this is why I come here."
The cash prize for tonight's drawing is estimated to be $782.4 million.

Since the Massachusetts Lottery sold its first ticket in 1972, the Lottery has generated over $143 billion and awarded more than $100 billion to lucky winners, according to the Massachusetts Lottery.
Small spoke to one man at Ted's Stateline Mobil who wasn't feeling too lucky, but decided to get five Quick Picks just in case.
"It's a one in a billion chance," he told Small.
The jackpot has continued to grow with no winner for the last 39 drawings in a row.
