BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — It is not every day a professional athlete calls their mom on Facetime during an interview.
Veteran linebacker Matt Judon opened up about his family and his mother's influence on his NFL career with the New England Patriots during an interview. While taking questions from reporters, Judon decided to go straight to the source and called his mom, Pieretta, to ask about his childhood.
"[He was an] easy-going kid, didn't really relish over material things," Pieretta said during the interview. "It was just a blessing to have you because you never complained about anything."

Judon is one of ten siblings in his family. He attributes his success to his family and showed his gratitude toward his parents for helping him become the successful athlete he is today.
He joked with his mom on the call referring to himself as "probably the greatest kid in the world."
