ROCKPORT, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — A Rockport Police cruiser and a train were involved in a crash on Sunday night.
Police Chief Horvath said around 8 p.m. a MBTA train and a Rockport Police car crashed at the Poole's Lane crossing in Rockport. No other details about the crash are known at this time.
Both the car and the train were traveling at a slow speed when the crash took place, police said. A Rockport Police officer was in the cruiser during the crash and was transported to a local hospital for treatment, officials said.

There were ten passengers on the train at the time of the incident. Police say no one on board was injured.
MBTA Transit Police are investigating.
