Merrimack Outlets Reopen Majority Of Stores After A Rock Slide, Gas Leak

MERRIMACK, New Hampshire (WBZ NewsRadio) — Merrimack Premium Outlets in New Hampshire reopened most of its stores on Sunday after a rock slide caused a gas leak on December 28.

Merrimack Premium Outlets posted the announcement online.

On social media, the outlets said each store's hours may vary.

On Wednesday, December 28, Merrimack Premium Outlets announced it needed to close because of the incident.

Merrimack Fire Rescue, Liberty Utilities, and Eversource responded to the outlets after hearing reports of a gas leak. They discovered that a rock slide had caused the leak when they arrived.

The following day, several stores reopened at the center.

No one was injured in the incident.
