CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — The group "Missing Dogs of Massachusetts" stepped in to help after one couple's beloved dog named Luna got lost when they were on a trip to Cambridge. Luna is a 2-year-old maltipoo with a tan face and white fur weighing about 6 pounds.

In September, Rodrigo Romero and Tanya Gonzalez of New York were visiting friends in the Kendall Square area when their dog ran out the door. Luna escaped the house and ran in the direction of Broadway.

"It has been really hard, I've become extremely attached to Luna," Romero told WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe. He said there is no amount of money he wouldn't pay to get his dog back.

The couple heard reports from people who had seen a small white dog crossing Longfellow Bridge into Boston, but they have not heard anything since.

Rodrigo believes someone driving may have seen Luna and taken them with her. He is offering a reward for her safe return.

Anyone who has seen Luna can call (787) 505-4284.
