Monday's Powerball Jackpot Is Up To $747 Million

DORCHESTER, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Monday night's Powerball jackpot drawing is up to an estimated $747 million. If there is a winner, it will be the fifth-largest jackpot in the game's history and the ninth-largest jackpot in the U.S.

Monday's cash option prize is an estimated $403 million.

Two winning tickets worth $50,000 were sold in Massachusetts in Saturday night's drawing. The tickets matched four out of five numbers in addition to the Powerball. The winning tickets were sold at Butts and Bets in Randolph and at Mobil Mart in Taunton.

The Powerball jackpot's largest game happened on November 7th with a $2.04 billion jackpot. The winning ticket was sold in California.

Powerball tickets are $2 each and can be purchased until 9:50 P.M. on Monday.
