Police Investigate Boston School Bus Crash With Students On Board

BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Boston Police are investigating a crash involving a school bus with students on board that occurred Tuesday morning.

Police got reports of a crash involving a Boston Public Schools bus and a 2023 Toyota Camry sedan just before 8 a.m. on the Riverway in Boston, officials said.

Three parked cars, with no one inside, were also hit in the crash. Video footage of the scene shows a Tesla sustained severe damage in the crash.

The driver of the Toyota Camry was not injured, but a passenger in the vehicle, a 51-year-old Brockton woman, was transported to Beth Israel Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Two students on the bus, ages 15 and 17, were evaluated and cleared at the scene. The driver, a 53-year-old Dorchester woman, was also evaluated and cleared.

The school bus and the Tesla, parked at the time of the crash, were both towed.
