ATTLEBORO, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Flowers, music, and art decorated the Attleboro Arts Museum on Thursday to kick off the 25th anniversary of the museum’s Flower Show.
The show's theme is Songs of Spring-Nature's Music and features seven local florists and nurseries.
"When you come into the gallery you just see vibrant color, you see overflowing flowers, you smell the mulch, you get to experience the warmth of having flowers and having spring around you," Mim Fawcett, executive director of the Attleboro Arts Museum, told WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe.
Fawcett said this year's show has more than flower arrangements and artwork.

"In addition to having the nature-themed art exhibition we have animal programs and just a few minutes ago we had therapy dogs in," said Fawcett.
Artist Kristina Occhino had one of her pieces in the show this year.
"It's just cheerful to come in and look at all the spring flower arrangements and nature art and floral art," Occhino said.
The Flower Show is being held until Sunday, March 26 for the public to enjoy.
