Taylor Swift Fans Waited For Hours Outside Gillette Stadium For 'Eras Tour'

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (WBZ News Radio) — Taylor Swift fans came from far and wide to see her perform their favorite songs on Friday evening.

Swifties tailgated outside Gillette Stadium in Foxborough for hours before the concert began, singing and cheering with excitement. Many were wearing sequin dresses, cowboy boots, and tiaras.

"I actually got these tickets for my birthday which was like six months ago so I've been waiting a long time for this moment," one fan excitedly told WBZ's Kim Tunnicliffe.

Friday night's concert is the first of three concerts at Gillette Stadium this weekend for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour.

"I'm really looking forward to "Love Story"," a young fan named Juliet said. "It says my name in it a few times so that's really fun. She's such a great singer and she really inspires me."

More than 60,000 fans are attending Friday's show.
