BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Whether you're looking for spooky or wholesome Halloween activities, there are plenty of events to choose from happening around Massachusetts.

The Trustees of Reservations is putting on events throughout the month of October to get residents in the spooky spirit.

For some family fun, the Naumkeag Pumpkin Show is back in Stockbridge with more than 1,500 jack-o-lanterns, hundreds of flowers, pumpkins, and locally grown gourds. Tickets are now available. The show is on until October 29th. There will be hot cider and fall treats available for guests to purchase.

"[There will be] a farm area, a castle, a starry night kind of outerspace theme and also an opportunity to go into the historic house," Catherine Shortliffe, Trustees Associate Director of Public Programming told WBZ's Nichole Davis.

There will also be an "Early Hour" time slot for a more sensory-friendly option. It will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. for a less crowded way to get in on the fun. Details about parking, tickets, and ADA compliance can be found here.

For more of a Halloween fright, the Trustees are putting on tours of the Old Manse in Concord. Over the next few weekends, guests can get a candlelit tour of the historic home and see the eerie attic. To register click here.

"One of the residents of the house was Nathanial Hawthorne who wrote some spooky stories while he was living there inspired by his surroundings," said Shortliffe.

There will be s’mores around the fire pit available for guests after the tour.
