Two Marlboro Construction Workers Fall Off Scaffolding, Seriously Injured

MARLBORO, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Two construction workers were left seriously injured after falling from scaffolding at Marlboro Public Library on Friday.

At around 9 A.M., three construction workers were working on pipe staging on a library construction project when two of them fell off the scaffolding to the ground, Marlboro Fire Department said.

The workers were taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Marlboro Police and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the incident. It is unknown at this time what caused the workers to fall.
