BOSTON (WBZ NewsRadio) — Transit Police are investigating after a woman and her groceries were targeted at a Red Line MBTA station on Thursday.
At around 4 p.m., a woman was holding a bag of groceries at Broadway MBTA Station when five juveniles began using them as a weapon against her. Transit Police said the juveniles dumped her groceries out and began throwing items at her face and head.
The woman was transported to an area hospital to be examined for a facial injury.
Police say the incident was unprovoked.

The suspects fled from the station, according to police.
Transit Police detectives are investigating the incident and working to ID the suspects.
