LOWELL, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Getting the COVID-19 vaccine is a major celebration, but for one man it was extra special.
103-year-old Luis Valencia Torres celebrated his birthday at Lowell General Hospital on Friday.
He received his second shot of the COVID-19 vaccine and on his birthday.

In the 15 minute window following the shot, the hospital surprised Valencia Torres with a cake and balloons.
