16-Year-Old Stabbed In Saugus

SAUGUS, Mass. (WBZ NewsRadio) — Police in Saugus are investigating the stabbing of a 16-year-old that happened Thursday afternoon.

Saugus Police said they got a call at around 3:54 p.m. from a business in Saugus Center after someone reported a stabbing nearby. When police arrived on the scene they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The victim was treated at the scene and transported to a local hospital. Police did not give an update on the victim's condition.

An initial investigation by Saugus Police found the victim was stabbed near Raddin Terrace. Saugus Police said they do not believe the incident was random. No arrests have been made so far.

Saugus Police urge anyone with information about the incident or anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area to call them at 781-233-1740.
