Just hours before handing in their brand-new album, Oh My My, to their record label, OneRepublic unleashed the release date and album artwork for the collection, which follows 2013's Native.

On Wednesday (August 31), the pop band revealed that the upcoming LP will drop on October 7 via Interscope, which means they'll face off against new releases from acts like Green Day, Pitbull, Norah Jones and Colbie Caillat.

Earlier this summer, iHeartRadio sat down with the band to talk about the set, which Ryan Tedder described as the best album they've done by far. "Typically, there's an arc to our albums," he explained. "We lead with the more left of center for us, and then it gradually gets to the middle of the album, which I don't want to say that we save the bigger songs for later, but historically we do. It's going to be an arc like this."

He also revealed that OneRepublic's set will feature collaborations with Peter Gabriel, Cassius, The XX and potentially The Chainsmokers. "We're open to whatever happens. I'm going to go do some stuff with [the DJs]. We'll see what that turns into. I'm a huge fan of those guys, and their musicality is ridiculous. This album is very eclectic. I think is the way to put it," he added.

No track list for the 18-song set has been revealed, but you can bet that it'll include singles like "Wherever I Go" and "Kids."
