Atlanta rapper Yung Mazi was shot and killed last night (Aug. 6) in Georgia, 11Alive is reporting.
According to the news outlet, "Police responded to the shooting, near the intersection of Oakview Road and Hosea L. Williams Drive, around 8:55 p.m., where they found the victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds." This was the second time in the last eight months that Mazi was shot. The rapper was also targeted back in Dec. 2016 at a Buckhead Waffle House. Luckily, he survived that time.
Not only was Mazi an ATL rapper on the rise. But, he was also known by many for being Kevin Gates' protégé. Mazi was an affiliate of Gates' BWA (Bread Winners Association) squad.
