DORCHESTER (CBS) -- A man working on the foundation for a building on Jan Karski Way was hurt in a construction accident Monday afternoon.
That man has not yet been identified, and the extent of his injuries is not yet known.
A spokesperson for the Boston Fire Department said the man suffered serious injuries after a concrete form collapsed, causing him to tumble to the ground.
A crane had to be used to remove the concrete and other debris that fell on him.
He was working on the foundation for a six-story building.
It's not clear what caused the collapse, but OSHA is investigating.
