National Park Service Commemorates 54th Anniversary Of JFK Assassination

BROOKLINE, MA (WBZ-AM/24/7 NewsSource) --  Wednesday marks the 54th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. 

National Park Rangers will lay a wreath and hold a 21-gun salute outside the 35th President's birthplace and national historical site on Beals Street in Brookline. 

It will also mark the end of The National Park Service's centennial celebration of JFK's birth.

Kennedy was born in May 1917.
