Security Ramping Up At Wrentham Outlets For Black Friday

WRENTHAM (WBZ-AM) -- Every Black Friday, the Wrentham Village Premium Outlets attract a massive amount of people--and that's why Wrentham Police have been busy Wednesday.

"We've fortified the pedestrian walkways surrounding the entire mall so that shoppers can feel safe," Wrentham Deputy Police Chief Bill McGrath told WBZ NewsRadio 1030's Carl Stevens.

He said there is no specific threat for Black Friday.

"It's pretty evident that Homeland Security has identified the favorite means of attack right now is to use vehicles against pedestrians," Deputy Chief McGrath said.
